More than 50 experts discussed preliminary ecosystem analysis results and priority fields of action in Basel (January 2025)
On 30 January 2025, Go Circular in Life Sciences (GCiLS) held its annual event at the Novartis Campus in Basel. The event brought together over 50 experts from industry, academia and other relevant stakeholders to exchange on circular economy opportunities in the life sciences sector.
The discussions centred on the preliminary results of the GCiLS ecosystem analysis for circular economy in the Basel region. Participants provided structured feedback and insights on emerging priority fields of action, contributing to the further refinement of the analysis.
The programme was complemented by selected industry case studies and dedicated networking formats, enabling exchange on practical implementation approaches and fostering new connections across the ecosystem.
GCiLS thanks all participants and contributors for their active engagement. The outcomes of the event informed subsequent follow-up workshops and deeper collaboration on the most relevant fields of action, supporting the transition towards a more circular life sciences industry.
