Establishment of the Go Circular in Life Sciences association following a multi-stakeholder workshop in Basel
On 18 October 2022, the second Go Circular in Life Sciences workshop took place at Impact Hub Basel, bringing together over 45 participants from across the life sciences ecosystem. The workshop marked a key milestone with the formal founding of the Go Circular in Life Sciences (GCiLS) association.
The event combined inspirational inputs with collaborative working sessions focused on circular economy challenges and opportunities in life sciences. Beyond the formal establishment of the association, the workshop enabled the definition of initial priority topics and the formation of first thematic working groups, laying the foundation for GCiLS’ subsequent activities.
GCiLS thanks all participants for their engagement at this important starting point. The outcomes of the workshop provided the basis for the structured development of the association and its future programme of work.
