An Innovation Ecosystem for Basel
BaselCircular is a public-private partnership between the Canton of Basel-Stadt and the Eckenstein-Geigy Foundation. In the coming years, BaselCircular will build a networked innovation ecosystem of national relevance, together with and for the Basel economy. An ecosystem in which:
established companies implement innovation projects in the field of the circular economy,
startups receive tailored support to scale their business models,
and universities and research institutes are integrated as know-how and solution partners.
BaselCircular strengthens support programs and organizations and promote projects that create the structures and solutions for established companies and startups in the circular economy—following the principle of "Enabling the Enabler." BaselCircular does not invest in companies.
